Costa Blanca North
This listing includes international schools on the Costa Blanca between Benidorm and Denia.
AIS International School
Catering for children aged 12 to 18 and founded in 2012, this is one of the newer international schools on the Costa Blanca.
Located inland near La Nucía, the school follows the English National Curriculum but with a Steiner-Waldorf orientation. See website.
Costa Blanca International College
Located to the north of Benidorm, this school follows the English National Curriculum with some classes in Spanish.
It caters for children aged between 3 and 18. See website.
Elian’s British School La Nucía
Established in 2002, this school offers the English National Curriculum from 3 to 18 years complemented with classes in Spanish. The school, located in La Nucía to the north of Benidorm, forms part of the Grupo Educativo Iale-Elian’s with other centres in the region.
Steve Jobs School
The only one in Spain of the 40 Steve Jobs Schools worldwide, the school is located on the road to Cabo de la Nao near Jávea.
It caters for children aged to 3 months to secondary (11-12 currently).
The school follows a traditional school curriculum with the emphasis on preparing children for tomorrow’s world.
The Lady Elizabeth School
From pre-school to 18, this international school currently has two locations, both inland from Calpe: the primary school is in Benitachell and the senior in Llíber. The school follows an English curriculum with the opportunity to also study part of the Spanish curriculum.
Boarding facilities are available.
Xàbia International College
Situated to the south of Jávea with different (nearby) sites for the primary and secondary departments, this school follows the English National Curriculum. The primary school offers places to children aged 3 to 11 and the secondary to children from 12 to 18.
Costa Blanca around Alicante
In this section, you’ll find international schools located in or around Alicante in the central part of the Costa Blanca.
H3 Kings College, The British School of Alicante
Based on the British National Curriculum system, this school is located to the south of Alicante itself and caters for children aged 3 to 18. Students study part of the Spanish curriculum.
Sierra Bernia School
Also located in Alicante, this international school bases its curriculum around the British system with opportunities to follow part of the Spanish curriculum too. The school caters for children at pre-school age to 18.
The English School
Situated to the northeast of Alicante in Mutxamel, this school was founded in 2002. Following the English National Curriculum (although most students are Spanish), the school covers all school ages from 3 to 18.
Costa Blanca South
The schools below are located in the south of the Costa Blanca.
El Limonar International School
Situated in Villamartín, inland from Orihuela Costa, this school follows the English National Curriculum. It caters for children from 3 to 18.
Actually situated in the Mar Menor to the south of the Costa Blanca, this international school combines the British and Spanish educational systems. It currently caters for children from pre-school age to early secondary.
Located to the east of the town of Elche, the school is for children aged 3 to 18. In primary, pupils follow the English National and in secondary, they switch to the Middle Years and Diploma programmes, which form part of the International Baccalaureate Organisation.
